Terms of Service

Welcome to Pinglist. These terms keep things fair for everyone. By creating a store on Pinglist or using pinglist.co, you agree to them. We've written them in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us.

1. What Pinglist is

Pinglist gives you a video-first online store with your own link (pinglist.co/your-brand). Customers browse your products and place order requests that arrive in your WhatsApp. Pinglist is the storefront — the sale itself (chatting, payment, delivery) happens directly between you and your customer.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate information when you sign up, including a WhatsApp number you actually control.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done from your account.
• One person or business per account. You can have more than one store only with our okay.

3. Your store and your content

• Everything you upload — videos, photos, product names, prices — stays yours. You give us permission to host and display it so your store works.
• Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't upload other people's videos or photos as if they were yours.
• Keep prices and stock honest. Don't advertise products you cannot deliver.

4. What you can't sell or do

• No illegal goods or services, counterfeit products, weapons, or stolen items.
• No scams, fake orders, or misleading customers in any way.
• No content that is hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful.

We can suspend or remove stores that break these rules. For serious cases we may do so without warning.

5. Payments between you and your customers

Payment for your products happens between you and your buyer — usually by mobile money or cash — in your WhatsApp chat. Pinglist is not part of that transaction and can't reverse, guarantee, or recover payments between vendors and buyers. Be a good seller; buyers, use your judgment like you would in any market.

6. Fees for the Pinglist service

Starting a store is free. Once your store has received its first five order requests, continuing to use Pinglist requires the Pro plan, currently GH₵ 100/month (see pricing for the up-to-date details). Subscription payments are processed by Paystack. If a payment fails, some features may pause until it's sorted.

7. Ending things

You can stop using Pinglist any time. We can suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk. If we ever discontinue a feature you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

8. What we promise (and don't)

We work hard to keep Pinglist fast and online, but we can't promise the service will never have downtime or bugs. Pinglist is provided "as is", and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or sales caused by interruptions to the service.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll let vendors know (for example by WhatsApp or a notice in your dashboard) before the change takes effect.
