Privacy Policy

Your trust matters more to us than anything. This page explains, in plain language, what information Pinglist collects and what we do with it.
What we collect from vendors
- Account details — your name, brand name, WhatsApp number, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
- Store content — the videos, photos, product names, prices, and descriptions you upload.
- Store activity — things like visits to your store and order requests, so we can show you how your store is doing.
What we collect from shoppers
Shoppers don't need an account. When you browse a store we keep simple, anonymous counts (like page visits) so vendors can see how their store performs. When you tap "Order via WhatsApp", you leave Pinglist and chat with the vendor directly — your conversation happens on WhatsApp, not on Pinglist.
What we use it for
- Running your store and sending order requests to your WhatsApp.
- Showing you analytics about your own store.
- Processing Pro subscription payments (handled by Paystack — we never see or store your card or mobile money PIN).
- Reaching you about your account or important changes.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information to anyone.
- We never message your customers pretending to be you.
- We never post to your social media accounts.
Where your data lives
Your account data is stored with trusted cloud providers (Supabase for data, Bunny and Cloudflare for videos and images). They keep it encrypted in transit and at rest.
Vendor marketing pixels
Vendors can add their own Meta Pixel to their store to measure their ads. That pixel belongs to the vendor, follows Meta's own privacy terms, and only runs on that vendor's store pages.
Your choices
- You can update your store and account details from your dashboard.
- You can ask us to delete your account and its data — message us and we'll handle it.
